Italica is an international airline based in Rome, the capital of Italy. Its main focus is the development of a comprehensive network spanning across all of Europe, the Mediterranean and North Africa: thanks to its geographical location, Rome is the ideal hub for connections between these parts of the world. Intercontinental flights will also play a major role in the airline's flightplan, the aim being to make Rome a central hub for the Mediterranean.
Italica ranks among the world's top 20 airlines, and is currently the sixth-largest carrier in Europe. Thanks to the parallel development of its two hubs, Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa, as well as the cooperation with its FirstSky Alliance partners, the airline is set to constantly increase its presence on the global market.

Hubs
Twin-hub strategy
Italica's operations are centered around Italy's two biggest airports, the fleet and operations being evenly split; currently, 55% of the fleet and operations is based at FCO, and the remaining 45% at MXP. The two hubs complement each other: the network from Rome focuses heavily on Africa and the Middle East, whereas the Milan hub relies mainly on intra-European traffic. The two airports are linked by 24 daily flights, a veritable air bridge that allows for convenient connections to anywhere in our network.
